“A good stance and posture reflect a proper state of mind.”
- Morihei Ueshiba
A good stance can reflect many things including confidence, strength, purpose, and presence. It showcases a connection between mind and body. But a “good stance” is not simply an issue of posture and stability – the word “good” itself merits exploration and how goodness impacts what a proper state of mind should be.
Achieving a good stance takes training. It is our aim to provide opportunities for youth to develop a good stance and proper state of mind for personal development and human betterment.
